Il n’est pas correct de dire que le travail est une adoration, sauf si l’on entend par là que ces œuvres sont des actes d’adoration d’Allâh à proprement parler. Il n’y a donc pas de doute sur cela. Mais le travail dans un but mondain n’est pas un acte d’adoration en soi, en dehors de ce qui est demandé d’un point de vue légiféré, comme le fait par exemple d’œuvrer pour s’empêcher soi même et sa famille de demander aux gens, et de distribuer ce qu’Allâh ﷻ a donné. Cela comme dans le hadîth où le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Celui qui s’occupe de la veuve et du pauvre, est comme le combattant dans le sentier d’Allâh ou comme celui qui prie la nuit et jeûne le jour. » [1]

Le travail mondain dépend de l’intention de son auteur. S’il recherche à travers cela le bien, il bénéficie du bien. Mais s’il désire autre chose à travers cela, il aura ce pourquoi son intention est faite. Le Prophète (ﷺ) a dit : « Les actions ne valent que par leurs intentions et chacun n’aura que ce qu’il a eu comme intention. » [2] [3]
