Mon frère, profite de ta santé et de ton temps libre, avant que tu ne sois affecté par des épreuves que les serviteurs ne seront pas en mesure de repousser. Profite de l’invocation de l’affligé et fais en sorte que la mosquée soit ta maison, car j’ai entendu le Messager (ﷺ) dire : « Les mosquées sont la maison de tout pieux. » En effet, Allâh a garanti la joie, la miséricorde et le passage sur le Pont vers l’agrément d’Allâh ﷻ, à tous ceux dont les mosquées constituent leurs maisons. Sois compatissant avec l’orphelin, rapproche-le de toi et partage ton repas avec lui, car j’ai entendu le Messager d’Allâh (ﷺ) dire à un homme venu se plaindre de la dureté de son cœur : « Aimerais-tu que ton cœur devienne tendre ? » « Oui » répondit l’homme. Le Prophète (ﷺ) lui dit : « Rapproche l’orphelin de toi, passe ta main sur sa tête et partage ton repas avec lui. Cela adoucira ton cœur e tu pourras satisfaire tes besoins. ».

Ne rassemble pas ce pour quoi tu ne pourras pas exprimer ta gratitude, car j’ai entendu le Messager d’Allâh (ﷺ) dire : « Le Jour de la Résurrection, on fera venir les gens qui ont possédé les biens de ce bas monde. Celui qui a obéi à Allâh dans ce qu’il possède, se tiendra devant ses biens et ceux-ci seront derrière lui. A chaque fois que le pont chancellera avec lui, ses biens lui diront : « Avance, car tu t’es acquitté du droit qui t’incombait. » On fera venir celui qui n’a pas obéi à Allâh dans ce qu’il possède et il aura ses biens sur les épaules. Ils le feront trébucher en disant : « Malheur à toi ! Que n’as-tu pas œuvré dans l’obéissance d’Allâh en ce qui nous concerne ? Il continuera ainsi jusqu’à ce qu’il invoque la malédiction. » J’ai appris que tu as acheté un serviteur ? J’ai, certes, entendu le Messager d’Allâh (ﷺ) dire : « Le serviteur ne cesse d’être d’Allâh et Allâh de lui, jusqu’à ce qu’il prenne un serviteur. » Dès qu’il prend un serviteur, il est tenu de rendre des comptes. » [1]
